The History and Vision of 94/95
Located on the southeast corner of 180th & Pacific, 94/95 is Omaha's only upscale sports themed restaurant serving gourmet contemporary American cuisine. The principal owners are Clester Johnson and Christopher Morgan, friends for over 20 years. Executive Chef and General Manager Chris Morgan has spent over 16 years in the restaurant industry since graduating from culinary school. Clester Johnson, a former Nebraska Cornhusker, has been in sales for over 13 years working in the insurance and pharmaceutical industry. After living and traveling all over the country to cities like Atlanta, Phoenix, and New York, we both craved that big city feel sports bar in Omaha. We asked the question - "how do we incorporate sports, great food, and great service with an at home feel to it?" We decided to come together and use our strengths of food and service to make our dream come true in Omaha. We believe we bring a unique idea and perspective to a sports environment.
The Theme
94/95 and 70/71 are synonymous with back-to-back Nebraska Championship football, but we want to celebrate all teams in football, baseball, basketball, and hockey (college and professional) that have won multiple championships in a row. We realize that sports fans love great food and service and we want 94/95 Sports Grille to be that quality upscale sports restaurant/lounge with a great dining experience to be your choice when you decide to watch any sporting activity or enjoy a fabulous evening out.

The Joint
The restaurant features a well appointed sports lounge, an upscale dining room, and a private room that can accommodate up to 50 guests for your birthday party, business dinner, or any special event. Chef Chris' menu features steaks, seafood, and a gourmet spin on some sports bar favorites like handmade pizzas and waffle fry nachos. Chef Chris will gladly pair any of his offerings with wine from his expansive wine list. He has hand selected each bottle on the house and reserve lists after sampling them all (not all at one time, otherwise who knows what he would have chosen!) Clester and Chris are excited to bring this new concept to Omaha, and look forward to an opportunity to share their vision with you. | ||
